Announcement PDF ASX Announcement ASX:WIN 13 September 2024 Alleged Royalty Dispute with Estrella Resources Ltd On 27 August 2024 WIN Metals Ltd (ASX: WIN) (“WIN” or “the Company”) announced the sale of a portion of WIN’s lithium and nickel interests in the Munda tenement (M15/87) to Auric Mining Ltd (ASX:AWJ) (Auric) and Widgie Gold Pty Ltd. On 6 September 2024 the Company received a notice from Estrella Resources Ltd (ASX:ESR) (Estrella) alleging a potential dispute with WIN and its wholly owned subsidiary Mount Edwards Critical Metals Pty Ltd in relation to certain compliance matters relating to the assignment provisions of a royalty deed associated with M15/87. Estrella announced the notice on the same day and prior to any discussion with WIN. WIN considers the steps taken by Estrella to be premature and the allegations to be without merit. Whilst WIN is confident that Estrella’s concerns are misplaced, the Company nonetheless looks forward to resolving the alleged issues quickly and amicably with Estrella in the near future.
